Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I am a church painter master in fresco technique - a very hard technique where I have about 5300 square meters of painting - and I can assure you that the watercolor technique is a very difficult one, even for me, it was necessary thousands of hours of study to learn it and to feel confident that I am a watercolor master.
